ಸೋಜಿಗದ ಸೆರೆ (Amusing Zoo)

ಇದೊಂದು ಅನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ದಿನ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲಿಗೆ. ಈ ಸೆರೆಮನೆಯನ್ನು (ಮೃಗಾಲಯ) ನೋಡುವ ವಿಚಾರವೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅದೇನೋ, ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾಯಿತು. ಕಾಕತಾಳೀಯ ನೋಡಿ. ನವಿಲು ಗರಿಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ನಾಟ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿತು, ಗಿಳಿಗಳ ಸಲ್ಲಾಪದ ಕ್ಷಣಗಳು ನನ್ನದಾದವು, ಚಿ೦ಪಾ೦ಜಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡಲೆಂದೇ ಎತ್ತರದ ಮರವೇರಿ ಫೋಸು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಇಳಿಯಿತು ಕೂಡ, ಸಿ೦ಹಿಣಿಯನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಮೋಡಗಳ ಸಹಕಾರ, BMTC bus ತರಾ ಒಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೊಬ್ಬರು ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವ ಕಪ್ಪೆಗಳು.... ಮೃಗಾಲಯ ಸಪ್ಪೆಯಾಗಿರುತ್ತೆ ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ನನ್ನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಬಹುಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಸುಳ್ಳಾಯಿತು.

The day was an unexpected day for me. My visit to this zoo was not in the schedule, but it so happened i had to. but what a coincidence! i could capture some very interesting and rare moments that no one could expect to happen in a zoo! I just entered the zoo and a peacock started dancing in full swing (welcoming me!). I had read in books about this but was really marvelous, no less than Bharatanatyam/Rock/Disco. Enjoyed for more than half an hour. Next was the birds busy in romance. The chimpanzee, as though to see me, climbed the big tree, gave a pose for a minute and got down! Very lucky to get him on my camera. Look a the lioness' pose. The shade and clouds added the much required ambiance. Frogs, very close to each other, reminded me of crowded BMTC bus in Bangalore! Never expected all these amusing moments that too in a zoo....

ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಿರುವಾಗ ಗರಿ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿದ ನವಿಲನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇ ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ, ನಾಟ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಅರ್ಧಗಂಟೆ ಕಳೆದಿದ್ದು ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ! ಭರತನಾಟ್ಯಕ್ಕಿಂತಾ ಏನೇನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಿಲ್ಲ.

ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಿದ್ದಷ್ಟೇ ಕಾಲು ಚಾಚು ಎಂದರೆ ಇದೇ ಏನೋ? ಇರುವಷ್ಟೇ ಜಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತಸವನ್ನು, ನೈಜ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಆನಂದಿಸುವ (ಅವುಗಳ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಏನಿದೆಯೋ ನಾ ಕಾಣೆ!) ಈ ಜೀವಿಗಳು ನಮಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಷನವಾಗಬಹುದೇ?

It is to say, these animals adapted themselves to the captive environment and learnt to be natural. This can be motivation for we human beings to enjoy our own life instead of complaining about the unavailable!
